Chewlie
After completing a Bachelor's degree in visual arts at the Hochschule der Künste Bern, Lucerne-based Julia Häller concentrated on exploring live electronic sound music. Her approach is mainly based on rhythm and percussion, influenced by an organic yet complex aesthetic. Her work features heavy bass infused with genres such as Breakbeat, Dub, Dubstep and Broken Ambient.
Chewlie is constantly on the lookout for sensuality. Her latest releases have attracted international attention, notably with the French label Ethos Records.
Elischa Heller
Elischa is a sound and performance artist based in Zurich. He was involved in the SHAPE+ 2024 platform (co-founded by the EU and Pro-Helvetia). He is a member of the bands Film 2, Beurre, 222Rn and Tanche, and publishes solo music. He sometimes produces/records/mixes music for Junge Eko, moƒ, Benmu and others, and does sound design for performances and dance pieces.
Elischa Heller combines the gestures of electronic music with the art of performance. Playful and sensitive, rigorous walls of noise mingle with inspiring pop moments, creating an ear-opening lightness. Heller's compositions are questions made audible: a tension between destruction and understanding, an acceptance of powerlessness as a goal. They are as much field recordings as pop, a cascade of contradictions bound together by a fragile precision.
Kris Mess & lu666666
lu666666 and kris mess had a crush behind the decks. Playing together, they understand each other without saying a word, the meeting of their respective universes creating sets that defy the notion of genre - at times melodic, at times hardcore. For this special night, they will blend their universes into an experimental ambient DJ set.
